When you  know exactly what you’re looking for, like a butterfly garden you’ve designed yourself or converting your entire lawn into mulch, then we schedule a Landscape Estimate. We will start by scheduling an Estimator to visit the site and meet with you to go over the details. This visit is short and to the point. The Estimator then takes all of this information to create a lump-sum estimate that includes all labor, equipment, materials, taxes and permits to complete the project. You will be  given the estimate to approve, and after signing your contract, we will schedule the project. Our Landscaping Crew and Project Manager will ensure the project runs smoothly, offer regular communication, and work to complete your project on schedule.

how to prepare for your landscape estimate

• Email your plan (scaled or including measurements) well ahead of your scheduled estimate (https://www.google.com/earth/ is a good tool for measuring larger sites) 
• Respond in a timely matter to emails and phone calls
• Be on time for the scheduled meeting
• Take notes on the Estimator’s findings and expertise 
• Ask questions
• Factor added value into your assessment of estimates. Do all the estimates you collected include the same features?

pricing & payments

Landscape Estimates are free. We require a downpayment of ½ of the total contracted amount at the contract signing, and the final amount due once the project is complete. We schedule projects on a first secured, first served basis.

For the advice you need: call, email, or fill out our service request form and we’ll schedule a 60-minute on-site consultation. During your consultation, ask questions, share inspirational images and ideas, and get valuable  feedback. From there, take what’s been discussed and enjoy the rewarding process of building your landscape OR ask for an estimate to haveEarth Expressions fulfill the work (check out the Landscape Estimate process above.) If you request an Estimate, we will be in touch to confirm details. Once your Estimate is approved, we’ll schedule a Contract signing and schedule your project. Prepare to sit back and watch some impressive work get done!

• 60 minute on-site Consultation with a professional landscape designer
• Additional time is incurred in 30 minute increments costing $50/additional half hour.
• Expert advice and information
• Note: Consultations do not include deliverables like notes on the meeting, drawings or designs. Please see Consultation & Landscape Design if you require these deliverables.

Do you need an expert Landscape Designer to design a beautiful landscape for your property? Earth Expressions Consultants and Designers are available to help design your perfect landscape.

design & consultation process

Whether it is a landscape design that you’ve dreamed up, or we are starting from scratch, our Landscape Designer will create a design that is sure to inspire. We start by scheduling a 60 minute Design Consultation. Our Designer uses  your needs and inspiration to create scaled drawings and designs, as well as a materials list (which includes plants). The design, pricing estimates, and scheduling are put together for your approval in a proposal. You have the opportunity for 1 round of complimentary design revisions; any revisions thereafter incur design fees. Once the proposal is approved and scheduled, we set up a site walkthrough with you, our Designer, and Project Manager to go over details. Our Project Manager then schedules the crew to begin your project, and communicates with you throughout the process. Once work is complete, the Project Manager will schedule a final walkthrough with you. The crew will address details needing attention, then final payment is due.

• Expert advice and information
• Scaled computer or hand drafted landscape plan
• Design review (virtual or in person)
• One complimentary design revision
• One perspective sketch (if desired)
• Material list to include plants, hardscape materials, and softscape materials
• Lump sum proposal with detailed scope of work and associated material list

pricing & payment

 $550 (additional consultation time and/or design revisions will incur additional fees). The first ½ of the contracted amount is due at the contract signing, and the final amount due once the project is complete.
